Pizza delivery and COVID 19 protocols

As the world battles versus COVID-19, people have a lot of concerns regarding how to best protect themselves. A lot of those concerns have to do with food. Most pizzerias have introduced contactless delivery, with state governments taking measures to prevent the gathering of customers in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

As more states of the nation gradually reopen their dining establishments and COVID-19 cases start to stabilize, it’s important for us to prioritize safety, cleanliness, and service for our customers, our workers, and the community we serve. The way we serve or deliver pizza these days are different than it did in the past, but what has not changed is our commitment to you and your family.

In our efforts to protect our restaurant against COVID-19, we remain in constant interaction with local health officials, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization to give our team the most current and effective tools and procedures for restaurant sanitation. We are proud to arrange dining establishment protocols and methods that satisfy or exceed these recommended guidelines.

We know the expectation now especially is for our restaurant to be a clean environment. That’s why we are establishing the following protocols to keep our dining establishments clean.

• Increased frequency of decontaminating treatments using sanitizer that has been approved by the EPA to be effective against COVID-19
• Additional Team Members dedicated to constant cleaning of dining room area, bathrooms, game rooms, and high touchpoint locations
• Rigorous cleaning and sanitation pre-opening procedures
• Hand sanitizer is available for customers and Team Members at the register station and all
  handwashing sinks
• Weekly COVID 19 tests to our dining establishment team including for pizza delivery staff.

Lastly, we like to inform you that no matter what happens, Prego Pizza is still here, we aren’t going anywhere. As you read before we have been forced to make some changes in our restaurant and in our pizza delivery service, adding a few things here and there, remove a few things here and there and all these for the safety of our customers and personnel, but we look forward to seeing you, to serving you, and to chatting with you again soon.
